Acrylic painting of the Acadia Seahawk fishing trawler. Fishing out of Canso, the ship and her crew met their ends during a terrible storm. Fishing close to Sable Island, the ship hit the shifting sands and it remains there to this day. The 12”x16” painting is mounted in a solid wood frame and painted by myself, Jean Hurst.
